hmmm........I guess what your idea of 'fast' is determines how you might
interprit these posts. I am not a 'Fast' rider. Dont want to be. Dont
care how many 'real' riders on lycra rockets pass me, dont wave, etc.
At the risk of having this interprited as antagonistical, which I assure you
it is not....I enjoy challenging myself. Although Ive ridden a bicycle
since 1965 I have just started making a concerted effort to use the bike
as my main source of transportation. My ride into work is almost 14 miles.
Riding hard and playing a mental chess game with my nemisis, the CatEye
computer is just one facit of joy to me of the many different ones I get from
my newly re-discovered passion. My riding style as a 46 year old man is
mostly stop-and-smell-the-rose's type so I enjoy the rides that I really
press on as a deviation from the slower pace I also enjoy on Sunday rides
or my afternoon commute home. Its all good ! Fast, slow, I enjoy it all.
