Internet anonymity at work. Even after a good number of posts, it doesn't always reveal the type you're dealing with. But for the majority, their personality is in their posts and reflects that when dealing with them. I've been solicited to assist with donated parts for a worthy charitable cause from here, and I didn't doubt the integrity of the person or his objective. Gladly gave what I could to help. Most folks here have been cordial and fair and downright generous. Maybe because I have only few online transactions. I've always preferred face-to-face. Of those, it's been quite good and getting to put a face to the avatar has been a plus.
