I've bought a couple of items from the for profit guys, a lot of people are sick and tired of ebay. As long as you know the value up front, I have no issues buying from them. Pricing was fair, or I would have just passed on the items.
The one sob story I am sick and tired of, that I hear all of the time on Craigs List, is the "I'm just a broke college student". Seems like they think this should yield an immediate discount, say 50% to 75% to free. Meanwhile, I can't help but notice the nice car, the iPhone, etc...
