Honestly, it looked to me with the steel and aluminum frames, the guy put his foot on the stays and then gently, carefully relieved the pressure from his other foot - while on the carbon stays he immediately picked up his other foot and then bounced a few times for good measure. Quality balanced testing that.
But my favorite part was the cutter attached to the piece of wood. I know I'm a convert based on that - can't tell you how many times I've accidentally ridden my bike into the whirring sawblade of death but I'll rest assured now... I'm only riding steel and comfortable knowing I have a whole 20 seconds before my bike gets cut in half.
