thanks guys, i finally got it off using a 4 foot steel pipe and after letting some wd40 seep into it. i had to recruit the help of my neighbor to help push on the wrench. but after it came loose the rest was a breeze. i dont know what it was, the cups and the threads are perfectly fine and there was no rust or corrosion.
I recently removed my 10-year-old rusted-to-hell BB with the following method:
1. Put bike frame in repair stand with large adjustable wrench and 5-foot cheater pipe on bottom bracket tool.
2. Wife stands on end of pipe.
3. I hang from the chainstays until the thing breaks free.

It worked :-)
i wish i could have seen this. it sounds amazing. so legit
