I think we're drifting out into another discussion here... I have pulled off my pedals a few times, but I find they generally work well for how I ride. I would probably adjust my spring tension before considering different cleats. (I probably should tighten my pedals a little bit)

Anyway, is "Ciudad de Vacas" Fort Worth? (Cowtown) if so, what gearing do you generally use? I get the impression that the terrain there is pretty similar to Arlington.
