I may have overestimated my cooking abilities. The g/f is down lately with school and everything, so I'm making a nice dinner for her tonight. Italian chicken and bell peppers entree, garlic bread (home made of course), champagne, and I got the idea that I'd make a raspberry tiramisu. 'Cuz, you know, that's Italian. It's only got 10 ingredients, how hard can that be? Pretty hard, actually. The egg whites never did their peak thing, the yolks never ribboned (wtf is that?). The recipe also wastes a ton of Grand Marnieur orange liqueur. This is a really expensive desert. Lady fingers aren't cheap, liqueur is expensive, the Marcile;aihsf cheese is expensive, etc.
