My service was purely peace time and right after Vietnam and its upheaval in the military. I want to say thank you to every man and woman, U.S., Canada, U.K. and other allied nations for service in the face of danger. I lost my best friend in Vietnam and had many, many friend in school and our largely military neighborhood. My best wishes to all veterans and their families for all the sacrifices they made for all of us.
