The Alfine 11's don't quite have all the kinks worked out, from what I've read. I'd wait until the product is a little more mature.

IGH's seemed attractive to me for a while, but the hassle of a bent rear wheel turned me away. Bend a freehub rear wheel and it's an easy replacement, but bend your IGH rear wheel, and you'll have to have a new wheel rebuilt from scratch.
