Because I'm not interested in actually buying it, and because in my experience people who list their stuff too high on CL also get pissed when you lowball them - another thing I don't get. I mean, if someone comes in going "that thing is total garbage, what is wrong with you" and gives me attitude and THEN lowballs me I guess I'd be pissed too, but not about the lowball offer itself. But if they just said "here are some examples of what this thing is going for on ebay/CL right now and I'm prepared to offer X." Don't like the offer? Say no. There's no need to be offended with someone just because they're honest with you about how much your stuff is worth to them.
