I have determined that the 8-speed internal hub on the Soho is good for about 30MPH, cadence-wise, but not much faster.

Howling tailwind this morning. 54F/12C. Reeled in another commuter. Also, the city was flushing a hydrant, so I had to ride through a bunch of water. Argh. My poor clean bike.
