I thought about wearing them under the skull cap but that kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it? I mean, doing it this way, the arms raise the cap and air can get in. What's your experience?

You want them under the straps, secured to your face.

If you're wearing solid near impact impervious glasses like Oakleys, they are part of your protection equipment. They have been the buffer slamming and sliding across pavement a couple of times protecting my face.

The lens have gotten marred by such abuse, but MFrame lens replacements are cheap/easy enough.
