I do winter tours in the deserts of SoCal,only occasional snow on the ground but plenty cold.Going to Death Valley for a week between Christmas and New Years,there are high deserts between me and there,meaning temps in the teens and 20's plus good chances of windy conditions....cold.......can't wait.
