An old acquaintance of mine once said, "I couldn't test ride a woman then I wouldn't marry her." I suspect that he may have applied the same philosophy to toothbrushes. I certainly wouldn't buy a car without a test drive, but its a bit hard to test ride a bare frame. Or a toothbrush.
