Completely wet ride in this morning. I opened the garage door and said out loud, "Holy Crappola" because it was raining so hard. So 38 and rain the whole way. Some minor flooding on the streets but easy to avoid. Not too much traffic - and people seemed super nice to me, more than normal, giving me lots of room when I was passed. I was soaked everywhere except for parts covered by my Shower's Pass jacket. Luckily we have a clothes drier (an air circulator) at work so everything is dry for the ride home. I do need neoprene socks as nothing keeps the water from spraying up into my shoes from below (yes, this happens in deep water). No shoe cover or fender will prevent that. Tomorrow will be worse, windier (45 mph gusts) and between 7pm tonight - noon tomorrow they are predicting anywhere from 2 - 5 inches of rain. THAT will be flooding and no way am I going to get on a bus that will get stuck in traffic.
