Missed matched tires are no big deal as long as there close to the same size. I don't even having matching wheels on all my bikes. The one I ride the most actually has 27 inch on the back and 700c on the front right now.
Can I nominate myself as king of mismatched tires sizes? I ran a 60mm tire on the front of my commuter, and a 30mm tire on the rear. The bike handled great, accelerated quickly and looked kind of uneven. I swear the top tube even started to slope...
