Not in my experience. I have had both and the Deltas never worked as well. They were super finicky to set up, and even when they were, they didn't work noticeably better.

But they were heavy.


And expensive.



EDIT: Looks like NOS Deltas are going for more than NOS Cobaltos, at least on Ebay, so I will gracefully bow out of this suggestion.
