I have'nt seen your model bike, If it came standard with 700's and is not a flat bar road bike but a hybrid I say 38c will fit easy which is only a few millimeter's bigger than a cyclocross tyre. A 38c will probably fit.
Rims are not a issue, If its a flat bar road bike the forks will be a issue.
