Replace FSA crank with shimano LX-- Existing BB compatible?

I've got a Jamis Coda and really like the frame but the components are very low end. The existing cranks are "FSA Dyna drive" and the crank arms flair out so that the Q-factor is pretty wide. I'm thinking that since it's such a low end crank set that it's probably pretty heavy also. So considering those two things, I want to replace the crankset with an old Shimano LX crankset (found it on Craigslist and it appears almost new). Anyway, the width of the BB shells are the same so will the LX crankset work with the existing BB or are there other considerations? Both BB's are square tapered.

Thanks,
Bob
