Hey guys, I currently have a 2007 hardrock disc, I had the rims rebuilt 2 years ago, with alpine III spokes, and they are sturdy enough to support my 360lb frame. I however have been unable to ride due to my "deraileur" kicking, and I believe the problem is that because I am a big clyde, I am putting to much down force on the derailurs and crank set.

Anyway to cut to the punch, I have a fairly large tax refund coming in, and as I know I already have the hardrock frame and wheels, I know I just need to make 5-600 dollars to make this thing rideable, My goal is to do them over the winter, so I can get back into riding, and drop some weight.

Anyway this bike is going to mainly be used for riding on backroads//around my college town over the summer, the parts I know I need to upgrade are: Crankset, Derailurs, Brakes, and the front fork. Any reccomendations for parts would be great.
