Optima and Challenge are imported to the U.S. and have distributors that will work with a LBS or IBS (Internet bike shop.) There is also M5, which does not have a US distributor, AFAIK . Barcroft Cycles is the only US lowracer-maker that I know of.

Lowracers aren't cheap, and even used ones seem to command relatively high prices.
