I have been given a Falcon bicycle which I would like to find out more about. This is an odd one seems like it as Falcon mainly made light weight racing bikes. This is a standard ladies bike, but it has alloy handlebars, alloy mudguards, alloy chain guard and alloy rear carrier. The bike is has a three speed Sturmey Archer rear hub stamped 1970. I am told that Falcon did not make this type of bicycle at that time. It does appear to be all original although in need of restoration. I have even contacted Falcon about this, but their records don`t go back that far. Can anyone shed anymore light on this please ?
