I personally think Pin bikes are ugly as hell. Why? It's because they OD on decals. It's too wild for my taste.
Check out BMW's MTB bikes. They probably are more of what you expected.
For a road bike, maybe it's hard to beat a straightforward classic design.
How many race cars have swoopy frames? The bodies might be aero, but even they are
just a series of straight lines. It's pretty interesting to see a car co. get into bikes.
I used to drool over Pinarellos like I used to drool over Orbeas.
But then eventually, the "fashion" grows old and passes.
"Style" (ala' Parlee, Crumpton, Ti Bikes, etc...) is forever.
I still liked the same bikes I liked as a kid (straight tubes mostly).
