Many thanks for the heads up on the wooden mud guard suppliers.
Jerry, I was the guy with the series 1 that emailed you a few time regarding your TSR2. I bought an unused model that was an unwanted present.
It has the SC2 hub on it. When I got it, I took it straight to Ben Haywards for a 'service'. I would hate for the belt to be set too tight or other similar mistake. I didn't do this as any mistrust of the seller but more of a 'base setting' for the fun I am going to have riding this 'steed'. They mentioned the SRAM A2 but said it was US release only and spoke as if they had never seen one in the flesh.
I shall get use to the SC2 but can already see the advantage of not needing a back pedal to initiate the gear change and hence potentially set the rear brake. We'll see how I get on.
I'm picking up the bike today so will share some photos (though you all know what an orange TSR2 looks like)!
Plans are to put swap to Ergon Grips, Brooks B17 saddle and maybe swap the pedals as I dont see the need to fold them up in my use.
When I was at Ben Haywards, I spoke of hub upgrades. They spoke of the 4 speed auto Shimano costing about £270 but I pointed out that with no coaster brake it might not be wise. They did not hace the SRAM A2 but are expecting it.
The fenders will wait until a US trip (unless a friendly US neighbour buys them for me and ships to their APO). Otherwise, looking forward to tackling my usual rides with just a pair or ratios and a stunning bike!
Let the joy begin!

PS. Now been on a 5 mile ride with some undulations and now the belt is set 'correctly' I get too many belt skips even when accelerating downhill! I shall tighten it up a little as it does sound like it is destroying itself with each slip. I'll contact Pashley to see if the newer snubber will help.
