Another story: Getting banned by a client
So there was this one client where I had a little bit of a crush on the secretary, she was my age, seemed friendly enough and always had a smile on when I walked in. So I think "What is the harm?". So I ask her out for coffee and I leave her my number, thinking "Well I will put the ball in her court, if she wants to contact me she can do that, if not w/e". Newbie mistake.
The next day my dispatcher calls me in an says: "Dan, did you ask a secretary at *Client company* out?"
Me: "Uhhhh, yea?"
Dispatcher: "Okay well the client complained and well, long story short we can't send you back there anymore"
From that day forward I was referred to as "Dan the Dog".
Coffee never burnt so bad.
LOL...I have thought of the same thing...but refrained from doing it...because I am on business...you know? I was banned from a tower for a few days because I refused to move my bike...lol...I came from another delivery and went to park my bike in the normal bike rack spot on the side of the building...fyck...I had no keys...I left them at the last spot I was at....So I grab my bike take it into the lobby...and the security guard has a fit....lol...I explain him my dilemma...but he does not care....he told me I cant do business until I move my bike...lol...I laugh...so I call the client and he comes down to get his package...lol...the next day I had a delivery at the same tower...they let me in no problem...but I had my keys!
