Looks like they use the same bikes as DC's CABI program which I use all the time. These programs are great for getting around city centers. Yesterday I had to go downtown for travel shots and then to two embassies getting visas. I rode down on a CABI bike checked it in, did my chores, checked out a bike to ride home. No worry about locking an expensive ride to a light pole. No worry that the weather might turn.

I looked at CABI's "Dashboard," a stats program they publish, and was surprised to see that single day pass usage has sky-rocketed this year. They booked 100,000 24 hours purchases in October. Those are one day use tickets bought by tourists and locals looking for a convenient way around town. The single day passes cost $7 and most users rack up additional charges because they don't check the bikes in at another station within 30 minutes which makes the rides free. So the program is probably earning $1M month in the peak months on single day passes. They also have about 18,000 annual members like me who pay anywhere from $35 to $75 depending on the deal they got. The DC system is now paying for itself and expanding. NY City is about to go with a 10,000 bike program. Now they need a sharing pass for travel
