One fella has a few Raleigh Reliants, a CyclePro Optima
The Releigh GP's are worth restoring, at least if the original paint is good, because they are very nice riding bikes and have a very classic design.
I am not familiar with the Reliants the fellow you mention has, but the ones I have seen were bottom rung, and IMO not worth much effort.
