Rubinos are actually a really good tire. The ones I had a couple of years ago started to separate where the colored rubber meets the black center (thatsracist.gif) but I think they corrected that on newer models.
That was the failure mode of some dual compound Vittorias I had way back when (1997-ish). I've stuck to single-tread tires since then.
