The plan was to make it all the way back to Portland on Saturday, but we just ran out of daylight so we finished up on Sunday. Now this next part relates to your question Mars- On sunday I finished the ride with a group of friends that I had not seen for a long time and they were riding considerably slower than I usually ride. At first I was really fidgety and would find myself off the front of the group and then waiting for them at the next stop, but then I settled in to ride at their pace and ended up having a really nice time. I just sat on the back of the group and chatted it up with good friends all the way into the Portland. A much more civilized ride than I'm used to. I'd like to do more of them like that.
Hey rainedon, I might have seen you on Sunday. About what time did you finish in Portland?
