Running Ridig is fine with me. I don't have any good quality shocks to install. The GT Corrado is mostly Shimano 8-speed XT with some LX so I will be putting those parts on the Kona.

I have some hope mini brakes I was hoping to use but the Kona has no mounts and so I am not sure if the forks can handle disc brakes using mounts installed. I will probably put some upgraded canti's or V-brakes on it.

I do all my own service and am confortable with repairiing bikes so there are no labour costs.

Do you think disc brakes are an option for the kona?
