How "noob" of me. My commute is ~20 minutes to work and ~25 minuets home (downhill to work and the opposite on the way home). I reside in SE MN, so the temperatures fall, as does the snow. Greaterbrown, I'm suspecting that you're exactly right, as they only get cold when I'm reaching my destination. I'd like to stray from three layers, though, and bring it down to just one or two, if possible.
