Your right to self-defense is not unlimited. As you should know from your very extensive training. There are very strict guide lines outlining the legal use of deadly force. Each situation requires an assessment as to the level of force needed to be applied to extract yourself from the situation. Sometimes deadly force is applicable and necessary. Many times it is not. I see fellow humans around me every day that make horrible split second decisions that are non-life threatening. I shudder to image those same people armed and walking around me, my wife, my kids and my grandkids.
