I just picked up this light while on sale at REI for 20% off last week. So far I like it a lot. Some parts of my commute are pitch black, and this thing lights it up as if it were daytime. The spread is really nice, and lights the width of the roadway. Mostly the "walk" setting is enough for me on normal roads, but for the darkest portions I have to go up to low or medium. The high setting is insanely bright!
