Bikes: Bike Count: Rising.

Today may have been the final straw with the mtb. Rebuilt the hub yesterday and that's working well now. Today I go out to get a street session in and had stopped by a coffee shop to have some coffee and to warm up a bit when I started to hear buzzing and the back end of the bike wobbling and didn't hit anything on a bad angle to knock it out. Look to see seven spokes broken clean off at the rim with the spoke nipples still on the spokes(aka rim cracked.) Had my coffee, walk bike back to car head to the lbs and replace the rim. I've built plenty of rims in the past so I get the wheel built in an hour. Go and continue said street session, drop off of a loading dock and thought I landed it good. Didn't think anything was wrong until I go to put the bike on the bike rack, I managed to put a massive crack on the rim that was on there. Now I'm pissed, and have to see if I have a rim laying around to replace this rim and from there I am going tok take some time to decide on whether I part the bike out, sell it as a whole, trade in for some road wheels for the Six13, or keep it.

Got home changed and got a road ride in, being that I was not in the best of moods, I hammered on the 930, and managed to smack into a pothole while going 24mph when almost back home. When I pull into the driveway checked the rear wheel to see what damage occured to that wheel, to my surprise it wasn't even knocked out of true, no flat spots on the rim and the rear tire wasn't pinch flatted. So apparently the 930 is tougher than the DMR.
