Bikes: Bike Count: Rising.

Truth be said, there are better headsets out there for much less than a king, the hypocrisy that runs rampant in that company over the years has turned me off.

1st: Was the whole bottom bracket thing that was on their site for ages it seemed. When it finally came out it, 2 months later press in bottom brackets started taking a hold on road and mtb. Not to mention the bb is $120 and to be serviced you need to get their tool.

2nd: They said they would never make a headset for 1.5" headtubes.... Guess what back in 2008 I believe, they released a headset for 1.5" headtubes.

3rd: If you need to service a hub you need to order their entire kit, which costs $200, when all you need to get the axle and free hub body out is a basic hex wrench, and you have to use their oil in their hubs. Any of the aftermarket stuff isn't "good enough".

4th: They said they would never make an integrated headset. Guess what came out 2 years ago from them... An integrated headset.
