Very good points have been made here. An inexpensive alternative to the Planet Bike Superflash and Portland Rabot are available @ http://www.pricepoint.com Put Sette Glo 316 into the site search engine. They're .5w like the PBSF. I've got both and can determine no appreciable difference in brightness. I bought 6 and have them on all of my utility bikes.
