I hated Windoze 7 at first, so much that I dual-booted it with XP. A year later, I can't even remember the last time I booted XP. You can still get 7 to do what you want it to, but it takes a lot more effort. It was obviously designed for idiots, who never use anything not sold by MacroShaft. Be patient.
