Bikes: 1983 Trek 600 / 1984 Schwinn Peloton

Went to buy a Moto and came back with Bianchi

Hi folks, I'm new to the C&V and slowly I'm learning and developing this new passion, C&V bikes. Anyway, one of the first lessons learned was how important bike sizing is and after riding my '83 24" Trek 600, it was difficult to get confortable on my other 23" Trek 300 Elance (eventhough I really liked it). Anyway, I found a Motobecane GJ 61 cm frame and went today to buy it. The Moto was everything I expected and read about, very confortable and smooth, but the paint was OK (no mint condition) and when I was still deciding, I saw the Bianchi: 61 cm as well, Trofeo, marino blue, in great shape. The seller believes it's a '97, I will have to check. The test ride was so nice and I decided to go with the Bianchi, I believe it is a mid-level, but I will be frank that I don't know much and never thought I would have an Italian bike, I will have to learn about it. It is made in Italy and I already changed the saddle to a vintage '87 Italia saddle that I had at home.
A summary of the components: Campagnolo Avanti brakes, derailleurs, 8 speed integrated shifting Campy Mirage levers, Miche 39/52 Crank, Campagnolo Melbourne 32 hole rims, Miche hubs, new 700c tires/tubes.
Any additional information from the Bianchi lovers here in the forum, will be greatly appreciated. Also, any links to the catalog or a serial number log that I could confirm the manufacturing year. Thank you.
