All it is , there is a roller behing the headlamp, once you start pedaling, you use the black handle with knob that sticks out on top and gently lower on the tire, very ingenious realy, we used to slam the motor on the tire and get ridges shaved on the tire... all without helmets, dodging between city traffic rain or shine...
You only really get a sense of how heavy they are when you get a puncture in the front tyre... and have to push it to the nearest village
