Dude, we passed that milestone a long time ago - remember the inline indicators? Also, Shimano FlightDeck computers have indicators built in. Nice feature, IMHO.

Good advice though, I wouldn't open that can of worms for the sake of the indicator (unless you already have a spare lying around...)
