A Tale Of 3 Companies
1> citygrounds sent me the wrong gloves about a week ago. told them this via email. a few days later they got back to me and asked for the part # on the gloves they sent me. I gave them it and the # for the gloves I was supposed to get (it was one number off). Then I didn't hear back from them since then.
Then I emailed them this morning, and still nothing.
2> Similar situation with those 722s I got from coghouse. Talked to someone who was aware of the problem on Friday, had to send another email today. Was told nothing could happen until they hear from their boss (I'm okay with keeping most of it, but one of the forks looks like it was in the "Otis" video). I brought up that there's no way I could turn around and relist anything they sent me as a new item, so they shouldn't do it either. Hopefully the 'boss' over there can let their employee know what they're allowed to do as far as returns or compensation goes
3>Meanwhile Universal Cycles had to delay a package of mine, but told me they would be sure to upgrade my shipping so I was still to get the product in 5 business days. Once they sent it out, it was sent by ground. No big deal, but still a bummer and I talked to the guy who told me he had to delay the package that it wasn't upgraded. He apologized and credited by account $20 within a few hours.
One of these stories is how you get repeat customers. It's why Scrod and UC are where I buy 98% of all my parts (if they sell them).
