Does anyone know which came first on the Universal model 61 and 68 brake hoods? The little rubber caps on the barrel adjusters. Did the gum rubber come originally on model 61's , or the black adjuster covers? Were the black caps earlier or later? I notice the pic on Velobase seems to show black rubber caps on the mod. 61, but....
I figure there must be someone here who knows, or has seen old pics depicting the earlier treatment vs. the later incarnation.
