In terms of manufacturing and marketing, there is no reason not to run all of the colors. I can't imagine why they wouldn't offer all of the colors for the mod 51. That said, in the 1952 Browns catalog, the brake lever grip they sold (not Universal), only came in black. They also sold Mafac rubbers but they don't list any colors for it.
