If your seat is set up how you like it:
1.Set your bars like your shaking hands, with your hands on the hoods.
2.Turn them until your wrist is straight.
3.Now go for a ride, let go of the handlebars, can you hold your body up in that position?
4. No...raise your handlebars until you can, turning your bars to keep your wrist straight.
5.Hand pain gone.
There should be very little weight on your hands, the stronger your mid section, the lower your seat can be.Your stomach, back, leg muscles will hold you up.They can take more abuse than your hands and arms.
