That kind of surprises me Randy, given the number of bikes you see. The NOS Uni levers I got from Joeeramone on ebay (great guy) were gum rubber, tops included, but they were the color and consistency of petrified chocolate fudge. Then, I recently picked a nice set of levers with hoods from our own Velobase administrator, (also a great guy) that were gum levers with gum adjuster covers. I do have some little black rubbers too but just wondering what was period for early sixties.....whether maybe the gum tops were later, say, model 77.
