I have been building up a frame I bought from a used bike sale and now need a front derailleur. The carbon frame (Trek 2500 1988 model) lacks a hanger for the front derailleur. Are they available to buy somewhere? How do I attach it- or is there a front derailleur that will fit a 35mm diameter tube? Thanks for any help or advice you can give.
