If something comes up tomorrow I will do the same thing. Also, you know the signs that real estate people put out of the side of the road pointing to their developments. Well, I am thinking about rigging some elcheapo signs on the same order with SHARE THE ROAD, AND A BICYCLE SIGN.

One last thing, I have have some scaring moments, freefalling from 3 miles up skydiving, had about 3 or 4 100mph+ crashes on the race track, but when I go down that half mile on Lyon Mill, I do say to myself, "don't lose it here Coleman"...
I know exactly what you mean !!!!!!!

Also if you don't have a good helmet/glasses mount mirror, get one. The "Take a Look"
brand is the best quality. They are much better than a bar mounted mirror,by moving your head you can see almost 180 degrees behind you. Knowing what's coming allows other safety related things. Even not being surprised reduces the pucker factor.
You may need to use a helmet mirror for a few days to get used to it. Don't give up on the first try. Also you need to have the mirror positioned to the left of your line of sight. So that you need to turn your head a little to see behind. Just as you would in a car.

For example....
If you see someone coming from behind that looks as if they are going to pass you too close, you can drift to your left and watch and see if they drift left to miss you. Then when they are about to pass, you move right back into the space you made by drifting the car to the left
