and mine will discount if i ASK.... on several occasions he has 'split the difference' between his retail price and the performance online sale price. i think we both win: he gets business he otherwise would not have gotten, and i get the product right away for a better price that in some small way helps support the local cycling scene... and of course there is the feel good factor: he's a great guy, operates the store with his wife, has a sweet dog that greets you at the door, and is generous with his time when it comes to advice, tips, etc.
