I like both the Synapse alloy and Caad 10 now that I finally got one. I think I`m going to use my Synapse for training and save the Caad for group rides where I need a little extra speed. I know I have gone faster on the Caad than the Synapse and have only ridin it once. To me both are really good riding bikes. The Synapse, heavier more upright riding good for very long flat rides and the Caad, lighter more bent over(agressive) riding, the guys I ride with like to sprint sometimes and with the Synapse they have been leaving me but now that I have a Caad 10 I think I will have a better chance with `em. My Synapse is about 4lbs heavier than the Caad10, anyway thats my plan hopeing the Caad will help me in the sprints.
