And I'm starting to go against my beliefs and thinking of eBay...Not for the bike, but cogs, etc.
Sheldon works for/with Harris. No problem with orders, but they do take a while longer to get compared to pure online stores due to normal/manual processing time and ground shipment.

My current situation (my problem 100%, not Harris) is I want to order a $6 kool-stop salmon brake pad, but don't want to spend additinal $8 shipping, so I have been trying to figure out what else to put in the order to make it worth it.

Remember you need tools to install cogs and lockrings too. Often an LBS that doesn't stock parts can order them for you and you don't pay shipping - much of this stuff in in the Qualtiy Bike Product catalog.
